At Creative Minds Learning Center we strive to create a caring, positive, and nurturing environment that promotes both individual and group learning. We understand learning requires active thinking and hands-on activities to introduce children to the world around them. Children learn in many different ways and it is necessary to provide them with the proper tools to facilitate new experiences. These experiences will help further enhance their abilities and strengths. Here at Creative Minds we have the tools and knowledge to guide your child. We know that a child who is absorbed in the positive components of life has little time to focus on the negative.
The curriculum explored at Creative Minds Learning Center is a research-based preschool curriculum that fosters a joy for learning through sensory experiences. For over 29 years this nationally recognized preschool curriculum has supported a child's social, emotional, physical, language and cognitive development. It uniquely weaves 33 skills through monthly activities and discovery projects. These skills, when combined with a nurturing environment and meaningful relationships support a child’s school readiness.
An example theme is Discover the Desert. Pull up your boots, put on your cowboy hat we’re headed to the Rodeo! After practicing your rope skills, wander out into the dunes of the Sahara Desert. Explore the Mojave Desert while riding your bumpy burro. Learn ABC with an armadillo and count the sneaky little lizards. Sit for a while in the shade of a cactus, but be careful not to fall asleep because the desert comes to life at night. In this action-packed theme, explore sandy ideas near and far away.
