My name is Brianna but my little friends call me Miss Bri. I own Creative Minds Learning Centers. I am passionate about child education and care. I began this journey in 2011 in a response to the lack of affordable quality care available for my daughter. I wanted a program for her that was engaging, creative, educational, and safe. One that would treat both my child and my family with kindness and courtesy. When I couldn't find one, I created my own.

Opening my first child care program gave me a thirst for knowledge about the how and why of child development. In my pursuit I've gained a Child Development Associates, Initial Education certificate, Early Childhood Education short certificate, and Early Childhood Education state certificate. Along with these, I possess a certificate in Safe Sleep, Guiding Behavior, and lots of other training in regard to child development. My favorite thing about working with children is seeing the light and pride in their eyes when they master a new skill or concept. Being able to repay the trust and faith they place in me with care and respect. My hobbies and interests include reading, cooking, camping, and spending time with my amazing family.

If I could go anywhere else in the world right now, I would visit Ireland. I love history and I would greatly enjoy experiencing the rich history of the land.

I started working at Creative Minds in August of 2018.

My favorite part about working with children are the relationships that get built. It's also amazing to get to watch them grow and earn their trust, knowing they can count on me for anything makes me happy.

My hobbies and interests include going on walks with my kids, taking long drives and spending time with family. I also enjoy working out and being active.

If I could go anywhere in the world right now I'd go to Ireland! From what I've seen in pictures it looks so beautiful, I've wanted to go there since I was a kid.

My name is Alayna, also known as Miss Alayna,  and I began working at Creative Minds Learning Center in September of 2018. Throughout my life, I have spent a countless amount of hours babysitting kids of all ages. This includes my siblings, family friends, as well as foster children that my family used to take in as a teenager. I have completed my general AA Degree at Green River College, the Initial Washington State Stackable Certificate, the Short Washing State Stackable Certificate, the Washington Early Learning Child Care Orientation Modules 1 & 2, as well as other training through the DCYF. Here at CMLC, I started off as the Lead School Age Teacher. After 11 months of this amazing experience, I got to move on to being the Lead Preschool Teacher. I then received the privilege of being promoted to Center Director in October of 2019 while continuing the Lead Preschool position. In February of 2020, I shifted to a full-time Director position. I have loved the experience of working in all the different classrooms throughout this time, it has truly allowed me to grow in my role here at the center.

My favorite part about working with children is watching them grow! I love seeing them accomplish different things throughout their time here. From learning how to write their name to kicking a soccer ball, the growth of the children in our care is what I look forward to seeing the most on a daily basis.

My various interests include music, both playing it and listening to it, as well as painting, caring for my houseplants, and spending time with my husband and our cats. If I could go anywhere else in the world right now, I would either go to Italy or anywhere with lots of sunshine!

I started working at CMLC in September of 2018. When I first started working at CMLC, I started out as the Assistant Toddler Teacher and completed all the above training through CMLC, as well as Fostering Literacy in the Growing Child, Playdough: Building, Squishing, and Mixing, Self-Calming Techniques for Children, and Math for Young Children. As I continued working, I worked my way up to becoming the Lead Toddler Teacher in October of 2019.

My favorite part about working with children is watching them achieve their milestones, it’s so humbling to watch them progress in their learning and accomplishments.

In my free time I like to read books, draw, and paint. If I could go anywhere in the world right now, I would go to Fiji! I have been wanting to go there since I was 9 years old. It has a magical feel that I want to experience one day :)

My favorite part about working with children is, how positive they are, it helps me be more positive myself! And seeing how creative they can be with their arts and crafts and with their classmates. I love their imagination, and working with them has made it a lot easier and very fun!

My interests/hobbies are, singing, playing the piano, reading, cooking, baking and taking pictures.

If I could go anywhere in the world right now it would be to New York City to walk around the city and to see a broadway musical. I’m so happy to work here at CMLC. The children are so wonderful and the staff is amazing!

My name is Kayla and I’m known as Miss Kayla by the kiddos! I started working at Creative Minds Learning Center (CMLC) in July of 2016. I have a passion for CMLC because I believe in every aspect of our program. A few of my favorite aspects of CMLC are:

•The employer support system from Brianna (the owner). Brianna and I work as a team to ensure that our program is the best it can be. Some examples might be a slight schedule change to help a transition or a new material to enhance learning for a specific lesson. Whatever it may be, we are always growing and enhancing our program with the changing world that we live in.

•The Mother Goose Time Curriculum. This fun curriculum ensures that the kiddos practice more than 68 skills throughout the year! With experience and education, I’m able to simplify lessons or create more challenging lessons depending on your child's academic level. I strive to meet your child's individual unique needs.

•Our cleanliness! Having a daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklist ensures that your child's environment is sanitary and safe at all times.

My 3rd and 5th grade teachers had huge impacts on me! They made learning fun and showed me that having an impact on youth is rewarding. I always knew I wanted to be a Teacher. After teaching 1-5 year olds, I’ve found that my passion for Teaching is in ECE. Learning is the most important during ages birth-age 8 which inspires me to teach my heart out everyday! To master being an ECE Director and Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, I have experience teaching and caring for children ages birth-age 10. Additionally, I’ve obtained an Associate’s Degree in General Studies, a Child Development Associate Certificate, and an Initial ECE Certificate that includes Intro to ECE, Learning and Development, English as a Second Language, Health and Safety, Guiding Behavior, and ECE Practicum. Additionally, I possess knowledge in Child Care Basics, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math for children, Open-Ended Art, All About Toddlers, Interactions, Sign Language, and hands-on experience. I also have the following qualifications: CPR/First-Aid, Food Handlers Permit, Bloodborne Pathogens, Safe Sleep, Guiding Behavior, Emergency and Disaster Preparedness, Mandated Reporting and many other trainings in regard to child development.

I LOVE seeing children learn - socially, emotionally and academically! With teaching and observing children, comes moments of celebration! Children learn and integrate skills everyday. The look on a child’s face when they master a skill is priceless! Another favorite part of working with children is giving them confidence before going into Kindergarten!

My hobbies/interests include my faith, my health, my family, my dog named Rosy, sign painting, flowers, and doing my part to save Earth.

If I could go anywhere in the world right now, I would visit Germany. My ancestors originate from Germany, so it would be amazing to learn about where I come from.
